It features six suites; each room represents the places the innkeepers have called home. Heart & Soul Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of Mount Airy’s Historic district. The home is walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants, and shows. This two-story home has a brick exterior with 18-inch thick walls, supplied by Mr. Merritt’s brickyard. It has a two-and-half story bay in the front, with a wrap-around porch. The house features granite string courses and window trim from the North Carolina Granite Corporation in Mount Airy.
