Since its inception, the John Coltrane International Jazz and Blues Festival has succeeded in bringing the very top names in jazz, paid homage to the blues, and celebrated the life and musical legacy of the jazz genres greatest artists. The Festival, now in its 14th year, honors John Coltrane, one of the world’s most influential jazz musicians and composers, in the city where his musical journey began. Kicking off on Saturday August 30th, day one of the Festival will feature the five-time Grammy®Award-winning collective, Snarky Puppy.
