This month has been kicking my bum in terms of time management and project deadlines. Writing a blog post about my time with reverence.farms was a nice reminder to me how important it is to  slow down. Be present. Next time you are lucky enough to enjoy farm-to-table dining, please reflect on all the souls that made your meal possible. The farmer who produced the food and cared for the livestock. The 🐔 livestock 🐂 themselves. The chef and staff. Even the soil that we take for granted has played a role in our meals. It's hard not to feel reverence when you marvel at these details. Summer in the appalachian mountains is so relaxing. You almost forget everything back home. It's so nice to be out of the heat of Florida and relaxing with some great bbq and great beer. This hand crafted brew comes from blowingrockbrewingco . I'm a sucker for a good wheat beer and on a beautiful day like this, it's the perfect beer to relax with. 5% and 15 IBU, this wit makes the day go by slow and easy. North Carolina has so many great local breweries and this one is no exception. The witbier is not the most flavorful out there but it is a fine example of Carolina goodness in a can. What a fun adventure to take a 4x4 safari through the Corolla beach area to see the wild horses. These wild horses are the descendants of Spanish Mustangs abandoned on these shores in the 1500’s. They thrived for centuries here but have become endangered by human encroachment.
