A Taste of Calabash

Join the town of Calabash in celebrating the Annual Taste of Calabash Festival. The town proudly embraces the title of the "Seafood Capital of the World" for its famous Calabash-style seafood. Come enjoy great food, arts and crafts vendors, music from local DJ "Joe Cool," children's activities and more! Tickets will be sold for $10 (cash only) starting at 10:30 am on the day of the event.

The Seafood Capital of the World was once known as Pea Landing, a quaint fishing village. After the WWII era, restaurants began opening featuring the local seafood and, as the town grew, the world-renowned "Calabash Seafood" style was born.
