Winterville Watermelon Festival 2025

Come to beautiful Downtown Winterville to celebrate the 40th annual Winterville Watermelon Festival! This legendary, multi-day event has so much to offer- festival-goers young and old can enjoy carnival rides, midway games, live music, flea markets and commercial vendors, and food vendors serving up both watermelon treats and classic fair food such as funnel cakes, turkey legs, and corn dogs all weekend long!

Kick it off with a Cruise-In Car Show and Opening Ceremony on Thursday night. You can hear local and nationally known music acts throughout the festival. One of the biggest events of the festival is the Watermelon Parade through town on Saturday morning. The Watermelon-Eating Contest on Saturday afternoon is always a favorite!

You don’t want to miss the Saturday night Watermelon Jam Concert featuring Tracy Byrd (of Watermelon Crawl fame!). This concert is ticketed.
