34th Annual Taylorsville Apple Festival

This festival, held annually on the third Saturday of October in downtown Taylorsville, has more than 400 booths each year with a wide variety of food, apple products, crafts, artisans, novelties, services, and more. In addition to the wide variety of vendors, the event features 3-4 entertainment stages; a “Kids' Korner” with rides, petting zoos, carriage rides, Little Blue Choo train rides, and games; and much more. Food vendors will be serving some of the finest foods you'll find anywhere with chopped BBQ, egg rolls, hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, Italian sausages, and the list goes on. And then there are desserts such as homemade ice cream, cakes, cookies, and of course, fried apple pies. There will be numerous contests such as apple baking, apple peeling, kids' candy apple art, and others. The annual festival attracts approximately 35,000 people, so come be a part of the fun!
