Croatan Buck Fifty 2025

Get ready for an epic ride through Croatan National Forest with four distance options to choose from—150-mile and 100-mile racers take off separately, as do the 50-mile and 20-mile riders. Kicking off and finishing at Carteret County Speedway, this course may be flat, but don’t let that fool you—you’ll be pedaling nonstop with no coasting! The gravel is in prime condition this year (think WAY fewer potholes), so if the weather plays nice, expect a fast and thrilling race. Bring your gravel, cyclocross, or MTB, though road bikes can work if you can squeeze in 30mm+ tires. For tires, think volume for comfort and speed, with little concern for flats. At mile 25, the Black Swamp Aid Station will be fully stocked to keep you fueled—no outside support, but drop bags are welcome. This is shaping up to be one of the fastest and most exciting editions yet—come ready to push your limits and have a blast!
