Starting at 4 pm on Friday, guests are invited to browse an intimate display showcasing the spirit and sacrifice of the WWII era—open before and after dinner. At 6 pm, Mess Hall Dinner is served, followed by a special presentation of WW II through the eyes of historian Cliff Tyndall.
On Saturday, History Comes Alive, starting at 9:30 with a ceremony on the Courthouse grounds, offering a tribute to those who served. At 10 am, Climb aboard for a guided bus tour with Cliff Tyndall exploring Lenoir County’s WWII landmarks. Chow Time is at the American Legion 12 noon-2 pm. The CSS Neuse Museum hosts dinner at 6 pm The 1940s-style patriotic dance, 7-10 pm, lets you dance the night away and meet Hollywood stars and starlets cruising among the attendees.
