Davie County Community Park boasts the largest vortex splash pad in the state of North Carolina with 7,350 sq ft of water features that entertain children of all ages. There are three quadrants designed for different age groups and LED lights for nighttime play. The area also includes two shaded picnic areas and twenty lounge chairs for parents to relax and watch the fun. As a COVID precaution, tickets must be purchased in advance to reserve a two-hour time slot.
This park has something for everyone: walking trails, green space, inclusive playground, turf field & track, Elevate fitness course, shelters, horseshoe/bocce ball courtyard, dog parks, and so much more. In addition to the outdoor facilities, there are indoor facilities used by Davie County Recreation and Parks to host programs open to the public. There are also spaces available for rental to host events. ,
