RiverGirl Fishing Company is a full-service fishing and rental shop including bikes, tubes, kayaks, and canoes. Founded by fisheries biologist Kelly McCoy, Rivergirl Fishing Company occupies a historic train depot in the delightful town of Todd—home of numerous bluegrass festivals, a vibrant local community, and one of the nation’s oldest continuously-operated general stores. The New River, widely believed to be second in age only to the Nile, runs a unique south-to-north course through the town.
This distinctive setting, both quaint and untamed, provides the ideal backdrop for the fun-loving and conservation-conscious Rivergirl Fishing Company. We aim to instill a love of the natural landscape by providing quality service and stewardship education.
