The arts council provides a venue for local artists to show off their talent, but that is just the beginning. We host the annual Stokes Stomp Music Festival at Moratock Park (which will be celebrating its 38th year this September), the premier Plein Air painting exhibition in the Southeast, the annual Wine Bid and Boogie Art Auction, live music events and much much more.
Just next door you will find the retail art market and performance venue, “The Arts Place of Stokes,” where local artisans have items on display for purchase. We also feature exhibits from our locals. This will be a truly exciting and cultural experience for the entire family.
