The Piedmont and Western Railroad is a fictitious line "serving" Western North Carolina whose mainline extends from Marion, NC, to Leadvale, Tenn. Train route is complete with scenery, towns, people and everything else it takes to make it look real. The museum also houses a life-like ticket booth, a train station office and a lantern display that dates back to the late 1800s.
