The Henderson County Welcome Center might just be the nicest looking Welcome Center you'll ever visit! We offer brochures, maps and information from our friendly staff and volunteers, interactive experiences, public restrooms and free parking in a beautiful setting in downtown Hendersonville.
Hendersonville is located in Western North Carolina, 22 miles south of Asheville, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains on a plateau with an altitude of 2,200 feet above level. Hendersonville is known for its gentle climate, beautiful scenery, a richness in culture & history, ample recreational, attractions and friendly people. Check out the "Cheers! Trail," which showcases 5 different types of craft beverage producers, including beer, wine, hard cider, mead & spirits. Henderson County has been designated as an American Viticulture Area (AVA) for its phenomenal wine grapes.
